Jim Mitchell's 52' performance racer cruiser Vincitore proved victorious in the IRC A class at the 2009 Rolex Big Boat Series and was named the Rolex US-IRC national champion. Vincitore also brings home the St. Francis Perpetual Trophy for coming out on top of an impressive fleet of well-sailed 52 footers.

The accomplishment tops off Vincitore's very successful year of racing in the Caribbean and the US:

• 2009 Rolex Big Boat Series - 1st Place IRC A and US-IRC National Champion
• 2009 Bayview Mackinac Race - 1st Place Division II IRC Cove Island
• 2009 Chicago Mackinac Race - 1st Place Turbo Class under ORR
• 2009 BVI Spring Regatta - 1st Place in Racing A - CSA rule
• 2009 Nanny Cay Cup - 1st Place overall racing - CSA rule
• 2009 Bitter End Cup - 2nd Place overall racing - CSA rule
• 2009 International Rolex Regatta (St. Thomas) - 1st Place IRC Division
